Cougar Football team dropped their opening game, 34-13, to Southeast Valley on August 29.

Cougar Volleyball team got their season underway at the Spencer Early Bird Tournament where they defeated Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn and South O'Brien, and fell short to Okoboji. On Sept. 2 they opened their home season against Paton-Churdan, winning all 3 matches.
