October 29, 2025
Calhoun County Board of Supervisors October 14. Department updates were received. A nuisance property was discussed. Drainage District matters were discussed with Pocahontas County and Webster County via teleconference.

Musicals will be returning to the MNW Stage this fall with "High School Musical Jr." to be presented November 14 & 15.

Iowa Central Community College seeks renewal of borrowing ability in bond levy vote on November 4th election.

MNW School Board met October 15, and okayed agreements and accepted bids. An out-of-state trip request was approved for December 2026. Snow removal bids were approved for Manson School and Barnum School. Open enrollment requests were approved.

Calhoun County EMS funding question is on the November 4 ballot.

The November 4th Election features city and school board positions along with the public measure questions.

Calhoun County Community Foundation Grants program will begin November 3, for the 2025-2026 program year.
